Putting Together the Pieces

This is a guest post by an anonymous guest author. The views and opinions presented in this are not necessarily representative of our own. However, we felt it presents a vital way of looking at things no matter which side of the issue you favour.   What if each of us is seeing different portions of the truth, but we’re all pawns in the games of those with the power to confuse us and keep us divided? What if we ignored the wheels within wheels and focused on the essentials?  Let’s make some assumptions for the sake of this argument. Nithyananda devotees, let’s assume you’re right. Let’s assume Aarthi is an opportunistic criminal, Lenin a fake whistleblower, Vinay a molester, the media corrupt and immoral, and Kalyan Raman and his ilk some kind of puppeteers. There is conspiracy, there is extortion, and there are vested interests. Yet there are several pieces of the truth that this site is undeniably right about, which you will admit to wondering if you’ve cared to read this site with a clear mind. And there are several pieces we think you might be right about, which we have concluded too because we have also analyzed inconsistencies, read your site with a clear mind (and we’re fully aware of the state of media in this country) and also because we  are ex-devotees and card-carrying hindus ourselves, we...

Saxena’s “Confession” about “Morphing”

Let’s begin by stating the obvious: blackmail is usually done with the truth. Truth is the entire leverage of blackmail and extortion, and is what makes it so attractive to defectors and internal politics of all kinds. If something is a lie, and can be proven as one, it is much harder to make your victim pay up or obey your wishes. The exception is false rape cases, because the truth is so difficult to prove and people will tend to believe the woman. There, finding out whether a case is truth vs false can be extremely difficult. This is so with Aarthi Rao, too. However, a piece of media very rarely fits into this exception. So usually, when examining any case of blackmail, the actual piece of info or media being used to blackmail is usually true, and not the matter of discussion. It is usually about the blackmailer and the victim. Yet, in the case of Nithyananda, this obvious fact seems to be forgotten when dealing with Saxena’s non-existent “confession” about Sun TV using “morphed” video to extort cash. For those who understand tamil, the video is on the right. The tamil used is very simple, and if you were to do a side-by-side comparison of the ashram’s translation and the one you can do yourself, you’ll see, once again, the Ashram’s frankly impressive ability to twist...

The Smoking Gun: Nithyananda’s Audio Confession

Nithyananda’s alleged “leaked” phone conversation (confession) seems such a smoking gun that Dhyanapeetham has had taken it down with copyright objections multiple times many years ago, as they do with most videos critical of them. YouTube, being easily manipulable with copyright claims, take down videos at the merest suggestion of a violation. The conversation currently found on online is shorter. It is completely in Tamil, and even a person who has only heard Nithyananda once will recognize the person on the tape as having his unmistakable voice, style of speaking, vocabulary, accent and familiarity with Lenin and investment in the subject at hand. The person strongly indicates he was involved sexually with someone, likely Ranjitha given the timing of the conversation. This is part of the same audio that was submitted to court. The courts had to goad Nithyananda to provide his own voice sample to verify it. We do not link the audio file on this page for reasons that are fairly obvious! However, if you wish to, you can search for it online.  There’s a bilingual transcript below. We’ve formatted the actual all-but-confession in bold, and it is heard on the call. The rest of the conversation is only in the transcript. — Beginning of Transcript Translated to English — N: “Hey Dharma, this is Swami dear. Are you doing fine?” D: “I am fine. Please tell Swami.”...

Nithyananda’s Critics, Read this First

Standing against something, and the way you do it is as important to dharma as standing for something. This blog is critical of Swami Nithyananda. However, we have done our best to ensure that everything on this site is factual. If you find something that you believe is incorrect we welcome your feedback so long as it contains evidence to the specific objection(s) you have. Similarly, if you have further supporting evidence against Nithyananda then we also would like the opportunity to examine it and if it withstands scrutiny to use it. If you provide something that you wish to only share privately, please make this clear also so we do not use it publicly. If you are a critic of Nithyananda, whether Hindu or otherwise, please read this post. We feel it is important and worth your time. It’s about understanding devotees of gurus like Nithyananda and other so-called spiritual organizations that fit the criteria to be called a cult. It is necessary to understand that we are not against most of the devotees of Nithyananda and believe they are victims. As such compassion is called for. We are against the minority of adult devotees that are aware of and promoting, fraudulent claims, such as fake blindfold reading, fake diamond manifestation, and more adharmic actions. Please show common respect and empathy for the other devotees who don’t behave...
